Mr. Finer's construction practice includes residential and commercial builders as well as residential and commercial customers. The practice experience in this field covers review and creation of construction contracts for private and public contracts and representation of clients with claims arising out of written and oral agreements. Litigation in this field has covered contract disputes, claims for poor workmanship, failure to complete scopes of work, issues regarding change orders and extra work in both new construction and renovation projects. Litigation claims have been tried in Supreme Court in Oneida County, Madison County and Herkimer County as well as litigation under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Mr. Finer has tried cases against municipalities and other public entities and private companies and individuals.
